Mooney Mountain Guides LLCis a year round Rock, Ice, and Mountain Climbing school & guide service. Based in New Hampshire and Vermont, MMG’s experienced staff of climbing guides and instructors specialize in private custom rock, ice, ski and alpine climbing trips, personal instruction, family climbs, and group team building events. MMG also offers guided rock and alpine climbs in the North Cascades of Washington, Red Rock Nevada, Acadia National Park, and Iceland.

    This 3 day course, held in and around Mt. Washington, introduces the decision making tools used to help manage risk while traveling in avalanche terrain. Dates Sold Out. Cost $450

  • "Ladies Only"

  • "Rock Climbing - Mountaineering Mentorship"
    Take you climbing to the next level. Design your own curriculum, set goals, and work with MMG guides on movement, decision making, rope craft, anchor craft, leading, traveling in avalanche terrain, the list goes on and on. If becoming a more competent, and independent climber is important to you then investing the time and energy into a mentorship program is a worthwhile venture. Time is our most valuable commodity, put yourself on the fast-track to reaching your climbing goals.

  • "Steep Ice Clinic"
    This one day course will focus on the movement techniques ice climbers employ when climbing in sustained steep terrain. Date: Sunday January 20th; Venue: Near Lincoln, NH; Cost: $150; Equipment Included.

Together Petzl and Mooney Mountain Guides are offering two weekend opportunities to "demo" some of the latest Petzl gear and learn from senior MMG guides. Saturday night lodging close to the climbing venues at AMC Highland Center and/or Joe Dodge Lodge.
